Wifi password security types

Wifi Network security system has Increased it's security since 1990. There is Three types of security system in wifi service It is WEP, WPA, and WPA2. All the securities purpose is same but they are a little different from eachother. All of these security system is the part of the 802.11 standard.

Security service is prohibited to connect to your wifi connection and also that encrypt from sharing your personal data to unknown users using airwaves.

Let's have a closer look to WEP, WPA and WPA2...

Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP)

WEP was developed for wireless networks and approved as a Wi-Fi security standard in September 1999. It is very old and widely used in the world. WEP supposed to give the same security level such as a wired LAN connection. And it is easy to break the security to this WEP level of security.

Wifi Protected Access (WPA)

WPA was used as a temporary security enhancement for WEP. To stop the many vulnerabilities of the WEP standard, the WPA was developed and formally adopted in 2003. WPA was a significant enhancement over WEP.

Wifi Protected access 2 (WPA2)

The 802.11 standard wireless security standard based protocol was introduced in 2004. The most important improvement of WPA2 over WPA was the usage of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The invention of the AES security system was made by US government. So that was very good to secure our network system. At this time the main problem is that if a device is already connected to the WPA2 secured device that can get access to other device that is connected to the same wifi connection.
